INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR SPIKE MOUNT LOW VOLTAGE PATH & BOLLARD LIGHTS
| FOR USE ONLY WITH LOW VOLTAGE LANDSCAPE POWER UNITS THAT DO NOT EXCEED 25 AMPS, 15 VOLT MAX.
WARNING: Fixture must be installed in accordance with local codes of the National Electrical Code (NEC). Failure to do so may result in serious injury and/or damage to the fixture.
SAFETY WARNING: Fixture can become very hot depending upon the lamp wattage used. Lens and metal around the lamp can become hot enough to blister hands. Particular care should be take no to locate fixtures where small children can reach them if high wattage lamps are used.
LUMINARIES ARE NOT TO BE INSTALLED WITHIN 10 FT. (3.05 M) OF A POOL OR SPA. |
| TOOLS REQUIRED FOR INSTALLATION: |

- To prevent electrical shock, disconnect transformer from electrical supply before installation or service.
- Run wire from fixture through the mounting hole in top of ground spike (see figure).
- Thread fixture into threaded hole in ground spike (see figure).
- Place spike in desired position and insert into ground until flange of spike is flush to the ground (see figure).
- Strip the two (2) leads from the fixture wire. Using the two (2) silicone filled safety connectors (supplied) connect the leads from the fixture to the main supply cable leads (see figure).
NOTE: Fixtures are supplied with 36" of 18-2 cable pigtail for secure connection to the main supply cable. Always coil extra cable not used below fixture for future relocation if desired.
NOTE FOR BOLLARD INSTALLATION: It is recommended that the bottom 3" of stern be installed in concrete. For concrete installation, supplied spike will hold bollard while cement dries.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS:
LIGHTED LAMP IS HOT!!
WARNING: TO REDUCE THE RISK OF FIRE, OR INJURY TO PERSONS:
- Turn off / unplug and allow to cool before replacing lamp.
- Lamps get HOT quickly! Contact only switch/plug when turning on.
- Do not touch hot lens, guard or enclosures.
- Keep lamp away from materials that may burn.
- Do not touch the lamp at any time. Use a soft cloth. Oil from skin may damage lamp.
- Do not operate luminare fitting with a missing or damaged shield (cover).

LAMP INSTALLATION / REPLACEMENT:
CAUTION: Do not exceed maximum wattage marked on fixture label.
- To prevent electrical shock, disconnect transformer from electrical supply before service.
- Loosen screw(s) from cover/shade.
- Remove cover/shade to expose lamp.
- Replace lamp with correct wattage and type of lamp marked on fixture label.
NOTE: DO NOT touch Halogen lamp with bare hands. Always use the plastic bag (if available) to handle the lamp.
- Re-install cover/shdae, lens and tighten screws.
NOTE: Halogen lamps must be protected from moisture and dust at all times. Always re-install cover and lens when removed.
